Differnet of Huang bo and Guang huang bo
Huang Bo is the dried bark of Phellodendron chinense Schneid. It is commonly known as "Chuan Huang Bo". It is mainly produced in Sichuan, Guizhou and other provinces. It is also produced in Shaanxi, Hubei, Yunnan, Hunan and other provinces. During March to June every year, the trees with more than 10 years old were selected, the bark was peeled, the cork was removed, and the dried trees were used as medicine. The bark of the adult tree of Clausena lansium has a thick cork layer, which can be used as medicine only after the thick bark is removed. Guang Huang Bo. is the bark of Phellode7zdron amurense Rupr.
