Taboo:
Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex is bitter and cold, and should not be used in patients with deficiency cold of spleen and stomach.
Function: Clearing heat and drying dampness, purging fire and removing steam, detoxifying and treating sores. It is used for damp heat, diarrhea, jaundice, red urine, Yin itching, heat drenching, astringent pain, beriberi flaccidity, bone steaming, fatigue heat, night sweats, spermatorrhea, sore swelling, eczema and wet sores. It can nourish yin and reduce fire. Used for yin deficiency, excessive fire, night sweat and bone steaming.
Usage and dosage: 3-12g. Suitable for external use.
Storage : store in a well ventilated and dry place to prevent moisture.
