Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz is a kind of commonly used and important traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of tonifying spleen and stomach, drying dampness and diuresis, antiperspiration and tocolysis. Rhizome of Atractylodes macrocephala contains volatile oil. The main components of the oil are atractylone, atractylol alcohol and atractylolide.
